Winter wedding at Marchwiel Hall
This wonderful winter editorial was inspired by fine art film photographer Emma Pilkington. From that, stemmed a grand Welsh-inspired country estate wedding that I truly hope one of you will scoop up and turn into your own
Emma came to us with a one-of-a-kind request for a long, flowing veil paired with oversized earrings that would truly stand out. She had a vision of soft, vibrant silk flowers that would make a statement at her winter wedding workshop held at the stunning Marchwiel Hall in Wales.
To bring her vision to life, we meticulously crafted the flowers for the veil using luxurious pure silk fabrics. Each flower was hand-tooled into beautiful, large floral shapes and adorned with crystal and pearl embellishments. These intricate flowers were then carefully hand-applied to an English net, one by one, creating a stunning and unique piece.
For the earrings, we wanted to maintain the boldness of the design. We used the same floral shapes from the veil and transformed them into dangling earrings, ensuring that Emma’s entire look would be cohesive and eye-catching
