Bridal Beauty: Easter Inspiration / White Magazine Feature
We couldnt celebrate Easter here at All About Romance bridal designs without a little easter inspired bridal shoot in collaboration with Patricia Hau Photography
Set amongst the bushlands in historical St Albans in New South Wales with the newly renevated 1800s church as a beautiful backdrop this location is stunningly simplistic for the nature inspired bride. And what easter themed bridal stylised photoshoot wouldn't be complete without the easter bunny!
Featured in this series is the Ada fine tulle drop veil, the gold leaves crown and the Forget Me Not hair vine
For the full series head over the White Magazine for the full feature
Starting off February with this lovely styled shoot we were part of and featuring our fine tulle drop veil. And as a fabulous reward it was featured last month on Style Me Pretty. Its always a treat to work with other wedding vendors from around the world and I adore any opportunity to work with Samantha Kirk Photography from Sacramento in Calafornia.
From Samantha Kirk… This session was pretty much based around the weather. What usually happens on a wedding day? Nothing really goes right and sometimes the weather changes, and well, that’s what happened in this case. We wanted to bring the shoot indoors and show an inspirational bridal shoot for a bride who happens to have her whole day need to be reorganized from the weather.
From Laura’s Floras… When you give a florist a blank slate, what is she going to do? Go bold and colorful! The bold florals for this shoot offer a wonderful contrast to the bright, white space. The beautiful yellow tree peonies inspired the palette. The peach and coral amaryllis and roses draw on the vibrant coral centers of the peonies and add to the warm sunset palette. The earthy foliage and beautiful olive green silk ribbons from Silk and Willow bring a sophistication to the otherwise vibrant color palette. Jasmine vine trailing off of the bouquet mirror the whimsical vine installation on the wall. You would never know from looking at this session that it was gloomy and rainy outside.
We want any bride to be inspired and see that you can still get beautiful images no matter the weather but indoors on your wedding day!

By Candlelight At Cedarwood Estate
One of the most romantic locations in America for having your dream wedding would have to be the historic Cedarwood Estate in Nashville TN an all inclusive estate venue.
Fortunatly for us we have the honor of working with Cedarwood and Julie Paisley Photography workshops to bring together these little bridal stylelised shoots each month. This twilight setting within the homestead of Cedarwood was captured on film by Julie Paisley with styling by the lovelies at Cedarwood weddings.

Ethereal Bridal Inspiration OF THE SEA
My goodness how this year has flown by so fast. Although it was only some months back It now seems so long ago now that I received an invite from Beth Joy Photography to be involved in their plans for two styled shoots to takeplace in Seattle . This exquisit styled shoot was photographed on the bay at Discovery Park beach just outside Seattle and this month it has featured on the utterly divine, utterly gorgeious page UTTERLY ENGAGED!
Inspired by the muted greys and blues of the Pacific Northwest coastline, husband-wife wedding photography team Bethany & John, explores the fluidity of movement (the sea, the dress, the bride), and reveals the emotions of a romance torn by distance. “We used inspiration from poet Longfellow as well as my husband and I’s own long distance love story to create a scene set against the mountain landscape and tranquil sea, filled with both warm light and moody colors – symbolizing ever-changing emotions. “
From Beth, “As the bride walks along the beach, she reminisces about past moments with her love. She is light-hearted, remembering the whispers of sweet-nothings, the feel of their hearts beating together. As she continues along the beach, she recalls how far away he is, and the veil is a symbol of the distance between them. She reads a love-letter she’s written, and pauses to reflect on their time together – preserving the moment in her mind. Near the cliffs, she becomes tranquil, at peace; knowing that their hearts are joined forever. The quote by Longfellow expresses her desire for the ocean – she gazes upon it, yearning to glimpse a sign of his arrival – oh so soon. Finally, as twilight comes, her spirit soars free: dreaming of the upcoming moment when they finally meet again.”

A few months ago I had the pleasure of meeting Beth from Beth Joy Photography. She told me all about her plans for a bohemian styled bridal photoshoot to take place in the Seatlle area. I was fortunate enough to visit Seattle a couple of years ago and fell in love with the stunning waters the dramatic coast and coves and the beauty of Mount Rainier so I just had to be inolved. The designs we sent over were the Ada floor length fine tulle veil and the Finesse gold vine headpiece. This photoshoot came together so beautifully it is hard not to post every single image.
Photographed by, Beth Joy Photography, this shoot was inspired by the deep greens and light earthy tones of the Pacific Northwest forest. The style combines a variety of textures such as soft tulle, succulents, feathers, and moss to create a scene set against the forest landscape and glimmering sun. Inspired by an ethereal, enchanted world, the team aimed to capture a shoot filled with magic, bohemian beauty, and an almost fairy-like bride.

Well the title alone fits nicely with everthing we are about... elegant, romance, couples in love and handcrafted bridalwear and lastly all set in the Hunter Valley. Its not often I have the chance to work with other vendors who are close by and Lauren Anne Photography gave me that chance some time ago to create something special for her vision of romance, winerys and refined elegance. To take that one step further this bridal inspirational photoshoot has made in onto the pages of White Magazine's wedding blog this week!
Below I have posted some of the most dreamiest of the images from Nirvana Vista or you can see the full feature by following the link below
Thank you so much for stopping by
I am so thrilled to finally be able to post the Old World Wedding inspiration which featured last week on the most beautiful Adorn Magazine.
Earlier this year I received an invitation from Justina Bilodeau to collaborate on a stylized bridal shoot at the historic Vizcaya Museum and Gardens in Miami Florida. How could I say no to such an opportunity! As in the past some of the veils and bridal headpieces from this year’s collection travelled across the ocean – without me.
It is always a pleasure to work with Justina, she has an eye for detail and a romantic heart. Her vision is dreamy romance with Italian influences and of course she shoots all of her bridal work on film. Vizcaya is best described as Miami's Italian Renaissance-style villa with its picture perfect Italianate garden rooms and pathways. Carved stone fountains and wrought iron gates it is a very special place that I would love to one day visit and a perfect setting for the bride wanting a wedding with Italian influences without having to travel to Itally. Featured in this bridal editorial is the breathtaking gown from Saint Isabel and paired with “Ada” our fine tulle veil in a cathedral veil length. For the full feature be sure to click on the link

A Pen Pal Letter Love Story - Featured on Style Me Pretty
I am way behind in keeping up with my blog and am hoping to do better for 2016. This is the love story featured late last year on the fabulous Style Me Pretty and was something that couldn't go unpublished on the AAR blog.
For the last year I have had an incredible opportunity being able to work with Julie Paisley Photography from afar, there have been so many pretty bridal shoots that I cannot wait to publish them all here. This one was a little different it is about husband and wife photography team Michael and Carina who put themselves in front of the camera for their anniversary and told their love story.
From Julie Paisley…It’s amazing to have fellow photographer friends in this industry. Michael and Carina are an amazing husband and wife photography team and while they are the ones usually behind the camera, it was fun for me to get them in front of the camera to celebrate their love in an anniversary session. Carina was breathtaking in this lovely Rue de Seine gown from the Dress theory and there is no doubt that Michael adores her. Their story is right out of a fairytale, they were pen pals in high school, oceans apart, Carina was in Germany and Michael was in Virginia, but as always, true love finds a way.
We are thrilled to present the romantic wedding elopement of Alicia and Benjamin held at the estate of Cedarwood Weddings in Tennassee which featured this week on Style Me Pretty. Included in the elopement of Alicia and Benjamin was our Ashley floor length tulle veil paired with a Maggie Sottero lace wedding gown (sigh)....
From Julie Paisley Photography… Alicia and Benjamin told us that if their love were depicted as a still life painting, it would be full of flowers and candlelight. The design team at Cedarwood Weddings took that symbolism to heart, and designed their ceremony altar as art, using fresh flowers encased in a gold frame. You might say this entire art-inspired elopement, set amidst a charming Tennessee historic estate, is pretty as a picture.
Massed gold candle lanterns cast a glow over the alfresco reception, which was classically styled with rich tabletop design, a wine bar and dramatically-elevated wedding cake framed with flowers. The bride’s bouquet was an intricate masterpiece of lush vines and flowers, hand tied with romantic, long silk ribbon.
The bride’s sister helped her dress in an exquisite Maggie Sottero and All About Romance veil. We love private elopements in beautiful, light-filled natural settings. It was a joy capturing elements and emotions of this celebration with film photography.

This veil is made of beautiful soft Italian tulle and adorned with English made lace in ivory and gold over which we have hand beaded with Swarovski crystals and pearls
One of the headpieces is our ever popular Westbury crystal halo made of gold and crystals. Lastly introducing our newest creation a sweet little crystal vine "Charlie" Swarovski crystals warpped in gold.

Cherry Blossoms in Washington DC | Bridal Photoshoot
For months I have been waiting for this day, so very proud to share these beautiful images from Julie Paisley Photography. A few weeks ago some of my bespoke bridal headpieces were sent to the USA for a special bridal photoshoot.
Some time ago I was asked by fine art film photographer Julie Paisley of Nashville to create a cherry blossom inspired headpiece for her annual trip to Washington DC to capture a bridal inspired shoot set amongst the cherry blossoms in the heart of Washington.
For this bridal photoshoot I created a headpiece made up of a series of golden vines and sprigs with buds made of freshwater pearls. The blossoms were made from hand dyed silk in a lovely pale shade of pink and filled with Swarovski crystals. I have been so inspired by this piece that we will soon be adding this piece to the shop in shades of gold & ivory and silver & ivory. If you love this piece as much as we do, just send us a message and we will create your own very special cherry blossom headpiece.
From Venice, with love!
We are thrilled beyond words to share these stunningly romantic styled wedding images from Justina Bilodeau Photography.
Some months ago after a conversation with Justina, not only did she offer to photograph our wedding veils and bridal headpieces but she offered to take them with her to Venice - Italy and photograph them. How could we say no and how soon could be get them to the USA. The results are increadible, dreamy and romantic. All of the wedding veils and wedding headpieces were designed and made by hand here in our Hunter Valley studio to meet with Justina's vision. Our accessories made the journey along with bespoke handmade wedding shoes from Bella Belle shoes handcrafted in the USA and beautiful gowns from SAJA Wedding also handmade in the USA.
Thank you so much to this team for such a beautiful collaboration
